The Chestnut Run Energy project team invites all members of the community to attend one or both of two Public Information Meetings about the proposed project. The team will present information on the status of development, timeline, and economic value to the community. Time will also be allocated for questions, comments, and discussion regarding Chestnut Run's planning, community benefits, and more.
Two public sessions will be held in the elementary school cafeteria at Carrollton High School and the Chestnut Run team welcomes and encourages your participation.
The primary focus of the first Public Information Meeting is to introduce the Chestnut Run Energy project to the community and provide an opportunity to gather feedback. The discussion will include details about the project and its associated generation tie line into the regional electric system.

This second public information meeting will include more detailed information about the Chestnut Run Energy Facility and its associated generation tie line into the regional electric system. This meeting will also include an update on the project’s status with the Ohio Siting Board and other key regulatory authorities. In addition, the Chestnut Run project team will respond to questions raised during the first meeting and to any new inquiries that arise.

No Requested Waivers: Chestnut Run will follow all standard siting requirements and regulations of the Ohio Power Siting Board and does not currently anticipate requesting exceptions or modifications.
